In Flames - Our Infinite Struggle

Inspired by the art of Derek Hess for the record Come Clarity.

So... it took a while for me to submit some art again, and this works are not so new, but I wanted to submit this series here for quiete some time.

As I wrote above it is from the booklet of an In Flames record. I like the art and I like the band, so I had at least two good reasons for drawing this series.
Besides I did some work a few years ago with a very similar style to Derek Hess´ art and I thought to remake the old drawings for this series.
This pictures will come soon, but I don´t wanted to flood everyone with thousands of submissions at a time.

If you like it you can follow this series in the future ^_^. The five pieces I submitted today are all of the artwork for the record, the next pieces for this series are all my own ideas.

For this one I used another type of red ink, because I drew this one here only one week ago and the others some months ago. I had nothing of the lighter red ink left and had to use some other ink. But I liked the lighter ink much better, I think it´s intensity fits very well with the drawings. Also the ink here didn´t flow very aesthetically and the crosses are much too big.
Even so I like the posture, the shadows and the hands.
Oh and the arrow is a little bit too short, because there was not enough space left on the paper...
