So, here is a new drawing, after I haven´t submitted anything in the past 2 weeks o_O (even though I finished about 4 drawings, but I´m still not sure if I want to submit something of that...)
And I´ve never done a drawing of a friend of mine so far, but this portrait shows
.It will probably be included in my application portfolio, as we were told that drawing people "around us" is more interesting than some models or any kind of famous people we don´t have a conncetion to.
I rarely use cross-hatching, but I wanted to give it a try again here, because I thought it wouldn´t take that much time as very smooth and careful shading does, furthermore I like cross-hatching very much when it is done with style
.It didn´t take as much time as my last pencil portrait, but it still consumed more time then expected.
Anyway I´m happy to have this finished now
.I usually like drawing hair very much, but actually I had a hard time drawing the lower part of it here... it doesn´t look as good as it could do, I think
and I really hate how pencil drawings look in digital form, the original is much much better, photographing/scanning takes always so much away from it´s charm... :/So, I think that was it for now, I hope you like it!
